Business Homes, the market leaders for speculative development, are to buy a two acre site at Calder Park for £1m - the equivalent of £500,000 per acre.

Business Homes intend to build 31,000 sq ft net in 9 detached and semi detached units. They are currently in for detailed planning and are expecting a decision shortly.

It is hoped that Business Homes will start on site in December 2004.
