Yorkshire’s Leading Business Park Continues To Grow With Largest Ever Speculative Office Building In Wakefield

Leading property company Peel has announced the completion of Kingfisher House its latest grade-A office development at Yorkshire’s fastest growing Business Park in Wakefield.

Kingfisher House at Calder Park provides 31,700 sq ft (2,945 sq m) of high quality office accommodation and is the largest ever speculative office development in the Wakefield area. The striking building provides large open plan floor plates, benefiting from a central core and two wings making the space ideal for subdivision if required.

The £7m development is the biggest ever specification in Yorkshire. It is located just off J39 of the M1 and is set to bring more than 300 permanent jobs to the area. It is located in the highly visible plot at the centre of the Park which benefits from the surrounding 100 acres of dedicated nature reserve.

Further developments at the Park include Waters Edge which is due to start on site early in the new year providing facilities which will include a restaurant, crèche and shops and a further 15,000 sq ft of office accommodation.
