Peel Holdings have reported that Calder Park is the fastest growing business park in the Yorkshire region.  Continued success in the first half of 2005 brings the total amount of space developed or under construction to a massive 150,000 sq in the past 12 months.

Lettings so far this year include deals with Business Homes to bring 38,000 sq ft  of office space, a luxury car showroom for Derwent Mercedes and an additional public house.

Paul Morris of Joint agents Lambert Smith Hampton said:

“The amount of space under way at Calder Park and the speed in which this has been achieved far surpasses that at other business parks in the region.”

A state of the art control centre for the Highways Agency has recently completed and Peel have announced the development of a 25,000 sq ft unique lakeside amenities village at Calder Park.

Gladman are also recent additions to Peel Holdings technology-come-wildlife haven, and report excellent take-up in their serviced offices.

Commenting on the success of the Park, Paul Fairhurst of Savills said:

“The speed at which Calder Park is developing further reinforces the quality of the development and highlights the excellent benefits for occupiers that other sites in the area often can’t meet – Calder Park has the best demographics in the Yorkshire area, some of the highest quality office buildings, extensive free car parking and good access close by to Junction 39 of the M1”
